Noreen Elbert CV (PDF)
Noreen Elbert teaches courses in nonprofit leadership; leading staff which combines elements of skill building and human resource management; and understanding organizations. Noreen received a BA in Public Relations and Communication from Central Washington University, an MPA and EdD in Educational Leadership from Âé¶¹´«Ã½.
Noreen's research interests focus on leadership, more specifically on nonprofit executive director support; leadership development and mentor relationships; and resiliency. In addition, Noreen enjoys facilitating workshops that engage and challenge her audience. Recent presentations include: Maximizing your leadership potential; Happiness at work; and Leadership from within: cultivating an authentic leadership style.
Noreen has served in a number of nonprofit leadership positions including: Director of the Bachelor of Public Affairs program at Âé¶¹´«Ã½; Director of Outdoor Ministries for the Catholic Youth Organization, and Executive Director of the Snoqualmie Valley Youth Hub.
Noreen is on the International Development Internship Program (IDIP) board at Âé¶¹´«Ã½, is a member of the host committee for the annual Washington State Nonprofit Conference, and is chair of the teacher appreciation committee at a local public school.
